SO THAT WEEK WAS INTERESTING.
Tuesday, November 25th...
I slept in after staying up Monday night to finish my concert clothing. Forget school. BUT I had to be out of the house by 10 AM anyway to pick Rachel up so that I could shuttle her, her sister, and her friend that I was somehow volunteered into bringing. 0__o;
ANYWHO. Decked in concert clothes, we made our way downtown. I was ever so lost. xD
But we made it, and we found Rachel's friend Jessi, who was holding places in line for us. We heard from a friend of Jessi's that if we ate at the restaurant owned by the House of Blues people, we could ask the waiter for a stamp for PASS THE LINE, entrance before general admission. We kept it all hush quiet to ourselves.
Mom called to say that the people fixing the gas leak in our backyard cut the cable line, so we had no TV (beyond local channels) or Internet. That boded very badly...
I had to leave at around 2:00 to pick Conner up. I got lost... Rachel started to get paranoid when the staff made everyone stand up in line. She tends to do that, so she called four times in forty minutes, asking where I was and why I wasn't back yet. -__- That was the only really unhappy time... but meh.
Conner decided to wear my shirt from the 2007 tour. It was tight on him and came up to his belly when he lifted his arms. xDD
After we got there, we rejoined people. Some chick came up to us and claimed that we had twenty people in our group (we only had 8) and that we couldn't just keep adding people all day. We had no idea who some of the people were who attached themselves to us were. Seriously. But when we explained that to her, she said that she didn't care--they were still part of our group. 0_o;
So we let them get in front of us anyway. Just because she was being bitchy about it. Even if our super-secret plan didn't work, people get shuffled around a lot at concerts anyway. So that little amount of space didn't particularly matter.
Conner and I took our turns to eat at the restaurant. We asked the waitress and, lo and behold, she stamped our receipts.
We kept it rather well under wraps. In addition to our group, only about five other people knew. But after the staff announced for us to get in a seperate line, some people left to go eat there. So the PASS THE LINE group got to be about 20 people total...
But man, that bitch was PISSED when she saw us go to that other line. xDD
Seriously though, people were complaining to the staff about us having special passes. Frankly, that's House of Blues policy. It's on their website. It's just like anyone else having VIP passes or whatever.
We got into the music hall an FRONT ROW. We all slammed ourselves against the guard railing and held on. xD
Really though, Conner had enough time to walk over to the merchandise and get him and I shirts. I just kind of spread myself out so that I took up the space necessary for two people until he got back.
The place filled up. Never saw bitch-tachi again.
Don't remember the opening band much. Music kind of flowed into each other.
THEN THERE WAS KYO AND DIE AND SHINYA AND TOSHIYA AND KAORU. @___@
Hooooooooooh shit I was pressed up against that rail and screaming and it didn't matter that I still had a throat infection, I would not be quiet. Die was right in front of me, and Kyo was in clear, unabashed view on top of his box.
They started with Sa Bir, which was never really a favorite song of mine...
Conner was yelling, fist-pumping, and head-banging throughout the entire concert. xD If you've ever seen my little brother, he's about 6-foot tall, lanky with glasses, and very otaku-nerdy looking with hair in front of his face and everything. He's also the quiet one who sits in the back of the class. But no, he was having a time. xDD
I swear I almost shat myself. Clever Sleazoid, Toguro, Ryojoku no Ame, the Final, Kodou... all my favorite songs.
And when Kyo takes away the microphone and sings... without the amplifiers...
Just sings with his voice alone...
Everyone goes quiet. I had never heard such quiet in a music hall. You could hear him clearly without the microphone.
I swear that man was going to make me fucking orgasm right there.
That, and he was shirtless. I mean, I don't usually hold these guys as sex gods... I say I do because, yes, they are very attractive and I'm sure I would drop my pants at half a chance to spend a night with any of them, but really, they're people, too. No need to worship real people.
Random injuction, I just saw a flea. Dogs need baths.
But Kyo had his shirt off with sweat dripping down... and there was a friggin bulge in his tight pants. And he knew he was hot, too. Some of those moves... he knew. @__@
And then Die kept stepping up to the front of the stage... directly in front of me. @__@ Any straight woman or gay man would react to that.
I even told Conner that he should have had a reaction. He smacked me for that...
In all, I came out with a shirt, and I almost drowned on Die's water. Janna (Rachel's sister) caught Die's pic. And no one broke my glasses like at the Tokio Hotel concert. I got incredibly lost downtown, but eventually found one of the interstates.
We didn't stay for the signing... wish we had, but I reeeeeeeally had to pee, and they locked the doors that led to the only bathrooms. 0_o And we were veyr thirsty.
That was a very good day.
I just got Internet back today. After a week.
Heaven forbid, I actually had to read and think to entertain myself.
