So Amazing Race 16 has started filming.
Know what that means?
Stalking RFF every couple of hours to see if anyone has new spoilers. <3
So far, according to the information dug up by the wonderful people who post there... we have Jeff and Jordan, who were a showmance on Big Brother. And it looks like we have another beauty pageant contestant? One who can't answer why a percent of Americans can't find the US on a map? o__o
Huzzah.
Dad and I agree that if it's her, it'll be entertaining, to say the least. With, you know, stupid humor. Intelligence-related tasks, here we come.
Dad likes Jeff and Jordan, so I guess he'll be rooting for them? His favorite s15 team got booted today. Which I won't complain about. Didn't really care about them.
The brothers were kind of bitches. And that's fine. There hasn't been a villain team I've actually liked since the Guidos. In season one.
And really I think I only like the brothers because... they're gay brothers who look good and are named Sam and Dan. That's one letter away from Sam and Dean, who are also brothers... who have a slash-fan fanbase.
Wow that went from one show to another.

I've been watching every Criminal Minds rerun on A&E, I swear.
They played the Big Game and Revelations recently. <3
I love me a Tobias Hankel.

So. Writing.
I feel kind of bad not writing Comradery (Danny Phantom), but that kind of died after a reeeeeeeeally crappy last couple of chapters.
That being said, I think the title is technically a typo. Well, it's a word, but the real spelling is comraderie. But it's acceptable with the 'y', apparently.

Original fiction working title Wayward. Have 5 chapters plus prologue. Well, chapter 5 has a hole in it that I need to fix up. And something about chapter 1 bothers me. It flows, but it isn't as catching as I'd like. The prologue and first chapter are probably the most important chapters in a book. They are what catches audiences.
A prologue can be excusably vague, especially if it flashes to characters who are not your main protagonists. The prologue is a lot of times meant to either tell a section of background information or otherwise set up the plot.
Successful prologues and first chapters, I feel, need to have more action than idle writing. If the characters are moving, acting, then the chapter becomes more engaging.
Unfortunately, my prologue is two characters talking, while the first chapter is the main character confined to a room. I've been trying to insert action, but it's difficult without seeming forced.
I've considered inserting another chapter prior, such as maybe before Rayson starts the voyage. This would entail more movement.
However, I feel that his voyage is where the journey begins. A chapter before such would just feel like another prologue.
If I were to lengthen the prologue to include some of his pre-voyage arrangements, then perhaps. That would mean vast changes in the first chapter, though. Much of it uses his actions in a way that the reader can infer his character. So the first chapter would change lots. But such may be necessary.
I'll probably keep what I have, but then write the same thing in the other format, then get someone to read and see which is preferable.
This, friends, is what an editor would be for. I, being unpublished and uninitiated into that world, don't have an editor. Which is fine, because my editor getting on to me would make me cry. Probably.

Thanks to watching the Apprentice Australia, I've gotten into My Future Lies, an unsigned indie rock band from Sydney.
Waiting for their newest single to come out~.
I like their version of Died in Your Arms Tonight.

2:17AM

Was doodling a bit.
Realized how much I miss Gideon Thraxios.
Really, I think I was more broken up over his death than Mr. Crepsley's. I knew Mr. Crepsley's was coming.
Gideon just... was dead. He hadn't really appeared for a while because he and Felix had another fight. Then Mildmay goes off to search stuff, and... there's Gideon. Dead.
That's probably how the cover of my Kindle got cracked, now that I think about it.
I still refuse to reread book 3 of the series.
It took a while to sink in, too, afterwards.
Now I keep going back and rereading the scenes with him. I just search his name and there we go. If I had physical copies, they'd be full of earred pages.
I read parts of book four and still tear up miserably. The parts when Felix finally admits out loud that he loved Gideon, and Gideon loved him back. And Felix expresses all the little things that Gideon did. Hell, it took that for me to friggin forgive Felix for how he treated Gideon.

Ended up doodling Gideon.
It looks like crap. >_>
Will definitely get Katherine to read this over break. That way I have someone to rant to who will understand me.

I've already told people my next dog will be named Gideon. For Gideon Thraxios.
Or my first child. But since that is unlikely, my next dog.
Damn you, Sarah Monette, for getting me so involved in the character, then doing this to me.
If my next dog or child is a girl, then that's just too bad for them.

In other news, I made cupcakes. Made too many. Ended up shoving a bunch of them on coworkers.
They were good cupcakes, though.

EDIT:
I realize that a few entries back I mentioned I didn't like this series as much as Nightrunner. Well, that's since changed, quite obviously. I love both series very much.
Incidentally, my favorite Nightrunner characters are Kheeta and Ilar. I don't know why--it makes no sense whatsoever. But they are. So take that.
And Thero. Because... it's Thero. Reason enough.
So take those three, and Gideon... and probably Mildmay, too. Leave Felix to sweat it out for a bit. And Mr. Crepsley.
Sounds like a party.

2:17AM

Since midnight on Thursday/Friday, I've seen Cirque du Freak: the Vampire's Assistant THREE times. xD
And we're seeing it again Sunday after I get off from work.
I'm really sad that there have been barely any people in the theatres. I mean, yes, it came out the same weekend as Saw VI. Which I have yet to see, by the way, and have lost most interest in seeing. But you know what? Cirque is a good movie. You HAVE to divorce it from the book series, because the two are so radically different that you can't really make a comparison.
There was a girl there named Rebecca. She took the place of... Sam Grest, Debbie, and most of Evra's part. Evra was supposed to be kidnapped. >o>
Then the whole thing with Sam... that was supposed to be Darren's whole thing about drinking human blood. In the movie, it's like "oh, I need to be stronger. Look, love interest is offering some blood, let's take it and kick ass." Book... Darren had been holding out for so long on drinking human blood, until his human friend Sam Grest was disemboweled by the wolfman. Rather than let Sam die from his wounds, Darren drank from him and ended his life as such, thus preserving his memory within him. And I was sad.
It's all a twelve book series. I've just started book 7. Darren has been accepted into the vampire community after playing a large part in stopping a coup. And I know there's a lot more to come.
The books are simple reads. But they're highly enjoyable.

In other news... reeeeeeeeeally want to see the movie of Repo! the Genetic Opera. I have the DVD coming in the mail. Just waiting for it.
Anthony Stewart Head as the Repo Man. This whole thing started with me rewatching the Buffy musical episode and liking his voice and looking up recent work. Then I saw that and love Repo Man. And Graverobber. And know what? Blind Mag, too.

1:56PM

Update: Johan is not played by Derek Stephen Prince. Just sounds a lot like him.

Finished the Doctrine of Labyrinth series (Melusine, the Virtu, the Mirador, Corambine). I thought I loved Mildmay, but holy shit, Gideon makes me crap myself with glee. Gideon was a character they met briefly in the first book, when Felix was still crazy. He was the one who stopped Felix from killing himself. When the brothers split from the rest of the group they'd accumulated, he and the other two they were with were captured. In book 2, on the way back from Troia and passing through Kekropia, the brothers saw that Gideon was the wizard that a town was going to publically execute for some festival or other. So they saved him and the other two they'd been travelling with.
Poor Gideon had his tongue cut out. ;__;
During the rest of book 2, Gideon and Felix become closer, and eventually become lovers. A lot of turmoil on Felix's part durng this relationship. A lot of turmoil on Felix's part all over. I swear that most of his relationships, romantic or otherwise, are based on misunderstandings and the unwillingness to communicate. Men.
In book 3, Felix and Gideon have a fight and they break up. Then Gideon gets killed. And I freak batshit out. And Felix pretty much dies on the inside and goes through unhappy stuff and does mind crush--I mean, mentally breaks the guy who killed him (who happens to be a guy Felix was sleeping with anyway, the git). And so Felix and Mildmay are exiled to the north, which is book 4. And throughout book 4, Felix is all sorts of emo about Gideon. So much so that I started crying again. >___>; Asking Mildmay if he thinks it's dark where Gideon is, because he doesn't want Gideon to be alone in the dark, and other things along those lines. Up until his death, Felix had pretty much been taking Gideon for granted, and I think he realized that, even if he didn't actually say it.
Up until that point, I really didn't like Felix. Mildmay and Gideon were the only characters I actually liked, because Felix was pretty much an ass. But Felix grew on me after that.
Actually, at first I didn't want Felix and Gideon to get together because I wanted the brothers together. But then I came to like Gideon and stopped caring about the brothers in a romantic relationship. Kind of like what happened with Supernatural after Castiel was introduced. No one cares about Wincest anymore. Destiel ftw.
But yeah. I miss Gideon. I've already told Mom that her next grandchild (read: my next dog) will be named Gideon.
She thinks I'm crazy.
And I found out that Gideon was 45 in book 3. Whuh?
He was still adorable. >_>

In other news... I think I'm getting the flu. Of the 9 people who work at my place of employment, 1 is out of town and 2 have the flu. 1 has H1N1, the other does not. That's 1/3 of our staff gone. I've told everyone that after Gail gets back from her trip, it's my turn to get sick. Because I've worked over 40 hours this week to cover for sick/vacationing people. I want my ability to stay home when I'm sick, dammit.
And I'm stil hungry. >_>
I better be well again before Thursday night, though. Because otherwise I'm getting the whole theatre of people seeing Cirque du Freak sick.

12:16AM

Everybody should watch Monster.
It is an excellent series by Naoki Urasawa. Plot is too deep to really summarize well. I certainly can't do it justice. Has to do with a Japanese doctor in Germany who makes the moral decision to operate on a young boy, rather than the mayor, that leads to his downfall in the medical world. Afterward, the people who wronged him mysteriously end up dead, and the boy whose life he saved disappears with his twin sister.
There's a whole slew of characters, but the main ones are brought to life completely... human. There's no blameless character on the show. They all feel, and look, like people you could actually meet. And everyone either becomes or faces their own personal monsters (haha, pun).
Johan, the young boy, is the titular monster. However, everybody shows their own ugly sides, so the title can be looked at several ways. The title could refer to Tenma's personal demons, or Nina's. Eva. Grimmer-san.
I've watched the series through twice. And there are still things that get me, and things I had never noticed. Some things I still ponder about.
It's a long, slow series. But I definitely recommend at least one watch. Too many people ask about the series, but hardly anyone has an actual answer.
This is my answer: it is an excellent series. My brother and I both hold it within our top five, and we have greatly varying tastes.
That being said, it's not a series for people who want mecha, super powers, or hosts of beautiful men and/or women. You have to have patience to get through it. The plot slowly... blooms, really. That's the only word I can really think of to describe the opening of its layers.
I really can't stress it enough.

Liam o'Brien makes Tenma sexy. xD
Johan sounds like Derek Stephen Prince. I would have guessed as much. His voice is the closest I've heard an English voice actor come to Nozomu Sasaki's voice. That being said, the voices could be exactly alike and that wouldn't necessarily make it a good dub voice. He really will have to work to convince me, because Johan's voice is such a crucial element of his character, and of the series.

10:52PM

So it's October and Houston is still experiencing temperatures in the 90's. >o>;
I wish it would get cooler.
High's at 90 tomorrow. Huzzah...

Read Melusine by Sarah Monette. Readind the Virtu, which is the second in the series.
Dont' like it nearly as much as Nightrunner, probably more for Felix's character. When he tries to sound witty, well, he sounds a bit more like a bitch. 0_o Like a lot of gay men I've known.
Like Mildmay, though. He's got a slightly more stable head on his shoulders than his brother.
The two are half-brothers who met quite recently. Felix is a higher-echleon gay wizard with a seedy (read: prostitute) background that no one was supposed to know about, while Mildmay is a cat burglar with a big ol' scar on his face and talks trashy. Kind of like me when I'm pissed off, except he uses double negatives.
FIrst book concerns Felix being raped/used to break the Virtu, which is... I guess kind of like a magical honing thingus for people in Melusine. He goes insane due to a magical compulsion and stuff happens to throw the two brothers in the same boat despite not having known the other ever existed. They travel to Troia, which was the land their mutual mother came from, because Felix saw in a dream he could be healed there.
Lots of brotherly bonding. Both sarcastic and truthful there.
On book two, about 1/4 the way through, and they're travelling back home, which takes them through enemy territory. They went through said enemy territory on the way over, but Felix's magic had been sealed then, so enemy magicians couldn't sense it. Now he's all better.
What's definitely different about this is that it's set in... a guess slightly closer to modern in terms of technologies. No electricity of course, but they have stuff like pocketwatches. Someone described it as Victorian. I guess that's about the feel it gives. Most other fantasies are medieval, or the newer "fantasy in modern world" genre.
I think I should write about ninja elves in Tokyo. Take that, fantasy in modern world genre. >P

Because of Mildmay, I'm cussing a lot again. >___>;

And today I realized that I'm a horrible person.

1:51AM

Just got out of a hot bath, and feel like posting something. ^_^

Katherine and I went to the museum to see the Terra Cotta warrior exhibit. Was pretty cool. <3
We spent a couple hours at the museum in general. I showed her the different halls and did I walkthrough. Poor Egypt hall is one room in the basement until the other building gets finished. >o>
Hall of the Americas is hidden upstairs on the third floor, which is only accessible via a back stairwell. That's the hall I intent to docent in.
There's a pendulum there that's not connected to the bulding. It moves in an arc, and as the world turns, the pendulum seems to. But in actuality, the pendulum only swings back and forth. Never turns. The world is turning around it. xD There are little wooden blocks set up that it knocks down about every hour. Someone told us ever 15 minutes, so we sat and waited... for over half an hour. D8 And we still didn't see one fall.

Working title for my book is Wayward Prince. That is probably not the final title, as I hate it.
I've written chapters 1, 2, and 4. Chapter 3 I'm working on... it's before the adventure starts, so yeah.
Definitely liking Rayson more than his son. Despite getting a little pissy at Rayson for being so ethnocentric. I'll forgive his ethnocentricity eventually, because it's more out of being naive than anything, but still.
Drental's changed quite a bit since high school, personality-wise. He was a lot like Lackey's Naitachal, how there's a bit of Flewelling's Seregil mixed in. Quite a bit quieter than Seri, though. xD

Speaking of Flewelling's Nightrunner series (which everyone should read), I love Kheeta. I don't even know why, but I love Kheeta like insane-o.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
EVERYBODY SHOULD SEE ZOMBIELAND.

It is by far the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Not just for zombie fans! It has dirty humor, family-friendly humor, low-brow humor... nerd humor... it's just witty like that.
And Bill Murray plays himself in it. Come on, people.
Really want a Twinkie, now.

WHOLE LOTTA STURF )

Monster anime premieres on SyFy channel on Monday, October 12th, 10 PM Central.
I recommend everyone watch it. One of mine and my brother's top 5 anime ever.
Liam o'Brien plays Tenma. How can anyone say no?

12:06AM

Fer srs its been 8 weeks since I updated??? o______0
I've been back from Tokyo for a month, by the way...
Had quite a few adventures.
On the wrong train from Narita...
The first time I've ever been to a police interogation room...
Being held captive by pretty guys dressed as German school boys...
Getting lost in small town outside of Tokyo...
And Akiba is always fun.

WHAT BE THIS ABOUT YONEHARA AND KAMIYAMA AND SLASHINESS IN FANSTAR MAGAZINE?!?!
Kamiyama is soooooooo uke. There's no saving it.

Wish my Hiroyan would get more slashy with other guys.
Nevermind his existence in two Boys Love films. And Musical Air Gear. That was something else entirely. And a fangirl could imagine yummy incest slash tween Tsubasa and Kai in Magiranger... but I'm all sorts of screwed up.
What has he been up to~???
Knew I shoulda stalked him. >_____>

So sleepy. But can't sleep. Having difficulty sleeping.
Now that I've seen Code Geass in English, I'm just as obsessed with it as Rachel was. 0___o
I like Schneizel. I hate that I like Schneizel, but I like him. -____-
He's very charismatic. And very pretty.
And Kannon exists. But I swear that has nothing to do with it.

12:12AM

Food for thought:
If Lelouch is such fail at any physical task, how does he do all his magical Zero stuff?
This question occured to me while watching him abduct the Chinese empress.
Was he just hanging on the back of the flags or something?
Roachlouch?

Pulled out the violin again.
Playing (read: attempting to play) the Devil's Trill makes me feel better during stress.
And this is lining up to be one hellsa semester. >_<

12:36AM

I wrote an entry earlier, but an oops of mine erased it. >_<
It's getting hard for me to get up for 10 AM classes. I used to have 8:30 AM classes, and be up for those with no problem.
When did I get so lazy?

Back in a Hellboy 2 fan mode.
I can quote almost all of Nuada's lines. And I'm starting to memorize the Gaelic in the throneroom scene.
I have problems.
SMEXY NUADA. Seriously... albino elf, awesome stunt/swordwork, slightest hint of an accent, dark path with noble intentions... luv luv. ^______^ *fangirling*

I made omurice!! And it was EDIBLE!!! <3
Omurice is... an omelette with rice and chicken in it. An ketchup on it. I've never understood the Japanese love for ketchup on eggs. Never really liked ketchup. But it was good on this, I suppose.
Got a "fast and simple" Japanese cookbook.
I have all that sake I can't drink because it's too strong. I can use that to cook. Damn expensive sake to cook with, though. >_<
But I put a heart on it. Like Kimeru. <333

Also been randomly screaming the English lines from Gackt's song, Jesus.
God said when you die
Your life will pass before your own eyes
If you wanna feel it right now,
Just do it, do it, do it!

I haven't checked Matsumoto Hiroya's stuff in a while... seems he's a regular in a terebi dorama. Tukumo. Will have to watch it.

Is it bad that when I see a kid on TV get beat up by a bully, I burst out laughing because of Yugioh Abridged?
--flashback--
"You call yourselves bullies? He's not even bleeding! You're all fired! I want you out of this orphanage by tomorrow morning. You make me sick."
--end flashback--
"EXCUSE ME WOULD YOU LIKE THIS BABY?"
"But I don't know anything about taking care of a--"
"PLEASE TAKE IT WE DON'T WANT IT ANYMORE."

I'm going to hell.

5:07AM

Nishikori-kun is getting massacred in the first set of the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International... >_< He got broken so quickly...
I went to sleep at 11 PM, having stayed up until 6 AM the day before. I woke up randomly at 3 AM, which was when the match before Nishikori was scheduled to start. Read some manga, couldn't fall asleep--
YES, he just broke back. Nevermind it was by a double fault. There's a pretty big double fault count so far in this match.
Anywho, yeah. Been up since 3 AM. Supposed to go have lunch with Rachel today. Will probably go back to sleep after this and wake up as late as possible. Then lunch, then work. >o>;
Freaking out everywhere. Because I do that.
He's got a pretty full schedule, though. Three tournaments in January. I wonder if he'll be in Houston in April? If so, then I'll brave the treachorous interstates in order to see him. *nod* I'd probably be his only supporter in the audience... everyone else seemed pretty big on Blake when I last went.
Yeah, Courtney's freaking out badly. He got broken again.
This is going to be a long couple of hours.

EDIT:
Nishikori lost.
I'm currently very sad. And in need of sleep.

12:04AM

Dear world...
I'm developing a liking of Inui/Tezuka.
Which proves that I should have gotten that Yamato/Tezuka/Inui doujinshi when I had the chance.
I suppose it's like my Tezuka/Kikumaru phase...

Been watching Chinese Prince of Tennis (Wang Qui wang zi). The boxset was a Christmas present from my brother.
I have NO IDEA what is going on.
Mom was asking if it was in Mandarin or Cantonese. I told her it was probably Mandarin (I can't tell the difference...) and she asked if my grandmother would like it. 0__o;
I told her probably not...
Got through episode 7. Guan Yue (Mizuki)... xD Purple streaks in his hair. Love him.
That and Zhou Yu (Yuuta) held his hand for a little longer than necessary. xD
Dunno. I hold this series as its own entity, entirely different from Tenisu no Oujisama. Just call it Chinese Prince of Tennis cause I can't remember the title in Chinese. @__@
Though GOOD GOD the Qian Zhen Zhi vs Chen Hai Tang (Inui vs Kaido) match... I was screaming in fangirl despair. They had this long talk beforehand in the weight room, and Zhen Zhi/Inui lost on purpose....... >______<
Hai Tang/Kaido is a serious jerk...
Long Ma/Echizen isn't helping matters.

I like the series...

2:00AM

Trying to go back and find years and YEARS worth of Prince of Tennis music downloads. >_<
Conner told me that he may be able to recover my old hard drive.
May need to let him do that...

HOW did I never hear Taka's Shasshin? My gawd I'm going to fangirl all over it...
Listening to happy songs (read: Tonde! Mawatte! Matta Raishuu) to get over it now. >P

Rachel and I are both going to have punk rock outfits for Tokyo. I have two set up... one for Harajuku, and another just whenever. I have other clothes, too. Like... jeans and T-shirts.
I need a jacket. >_<
I also want an iPod. Or something of the sort.
We're in the final stretch. 65 days, now.

Nishikori Kei won his first match in the Brisbane tournament. Woot.
I gots his calendar on my wall. xD

10:03PM

Next series of Kamen Rider is Kamen Rider Decade. In this series, the kamen riders of the Heisei era are supposed to appear.
Does this mean that I get to see characters from Ryuki again?? :3
I wonder who will appear from Kabuto? Mizushima Hiro? Sato Yuuki?
Probably not anyone who died... like Kageyama. Or Tezuka (well, technically...).
Maybe Yaguruma?
What about from Hibiki?
I'm excited.

Today, the American remake of Kamen Rider Ryuki appeared. It aired as Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight.
It did not bode well when the commercial made a pun about the similarities in the pronunciation of "kamen" and "common". >o>;
I do not know how to feel about the series. I liked the hour-long pilot episode more, but that never made it to TV. This first episode was a half-hour long, and felt a lot like a kids' show. The pilot felt more like an older audience (teens).
Matt Mullins, who plays Kamen Rider Wing Knight (replacing Ren/Kamen Rider Knight) is a five-time world martial arts champion. I think he can do his own stunts. xD

Aiba Hiroki will be in tne next Sentai series. Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
Aiba will be ShinkenBlue.
I JOKED about Aiba being in a sentai series. xD
I have not heard of any of the other people casted, though. There are three males and two females again.
Could also make a joke about Aiba is ten times more effeminate than any girl I've ever known... especially in that two-page spread in that Hero Vision magazine........

In other news:
We have a puppy. I picked this puppy up off the street. It pees on the floor a lot.
I think that it is a cocker spaniel x chihuahua mix.
His name is Dean Winchester.
xD

1:03AM - NEW PRINCE OF TENNIS MANGA

Did I ever mention on here that the new Prince of Tennis manga series is starting in March?
No?
Srsly??
Well, starting in April's edition of Jump SQ (released early March), another Prince of Tennis series will be released. And it's stated to star Echizen again.
Any bets that it concerns high school~???
I just want Taka... nevermind that Taka's not going to high school. And neither is Tezuka, now that I think about it.......

I realized the build for my perfect uke:
1. Glasses--they're sexeh.
2. Dark hair--I like Asians. And dark-haired ukes.
3. Trim--not skinny, but not muscley. Can ideally stand some physical fitness.
4. Able to have some adorable expressions--because I said so.
5. Older--because I have an oji-san fetish.
I put all of these together, and the first face I came up with was Tezuka. 0______o;;
Very sure he would not appreciate that.

1:17PM

What have I been up to lately~??
Rachel and I have already purchased plane tickets and hotel reservations for our trip to Tokyo next spring.
It's strange-feeling... when I initially asked her to go, I never thought we would. I mean, her family isn't terribly well off, and she doesn't work too many hours a week. I seriously thought that she wouldn't be able to go, and I wasn't going to go by myself.
And here we are, getting reservations and planning an itinerary.
We want to go to Harajuku that Sunday after we get in. We're both planning on dressing in full punk rock. I should have a h.NAOTO outfit by then. Rachel plans to have some Sex Pot Revenge clothing by then, but I got her a h.NAOTO shirt. It's her favorite brand, but she can't generally afford it. But I know how to shop around. xDD

I still have a sore throat. But now I think it's from allergies. I have so much nasty mucus. >_<

1:32AM - SO THAT WEEK WAS INTERESTING.

Tuesday, November 25th...
I slept in after staying up Monday night to finish my concert clothing. Forget school. BUT I had to be out of the house by 10 AM anyway to pick Rachel up so that I could shuttle her, her sister, and her friend that I was somehow volunteered into bringing. 0__o;
ANYWHO. Decked in concert clothes, we made our way downtown. I was ever so lost. xD
But we made it, and we found Rachel's friend Jessi, who was holding places in line for us. We heard from a friend of Jessi's that if we ate at the restaurant owned by the House of Blues people, we could ask the waiter for a stamp for PASS THE LINE, entrance before general admission. We kept it all hush quiet to ourselves.
Mom called to say that the people fixing the gas leak in our backyard cut the cable line, so we had no TV (beyond local channels) or Internet. That boded very badly...
I had to leave at around 2:00 to pick Conner up. I got lost... Rachel started to get paranoid when the staff made everyone stand up in line. She tends to do that, so she called four times in forty minutes, asking where I was and why I wasn't back yet. -__- That was the only really unhappy time... but meh.
Conner decided to wear my shirt from the 2007 tour. It was tight on him and came up to his belly when he lifted his arms. xDD
After we got there, we rejoined people. Some chick came up to us and claimed that we had twenty people in our group (we only had 8) and that we couldn't just keep adding people all day. We had no idea who some of the people were who attached themselves to us were. Seriously. But when we explained that to her, she said that she didn't care--they were still part of our group. 0_o;
So we let them get in front of us anyway. Just because she was being bitchy about it. Even if our super-secret plan didn't work, people get shuffled around a lot at concerts anyway. So that little amount of space didn't particularly matter.
Conner and I took our turns to eat at the restaurant. We asked the waitress and, lo and behold, she stamped our receipts.
We kept it rather well under wraps. In addition to our group, only about five other people knew. But after the staff announced for us to get in a seperate line, some people left to go eat there. So the PASS THE LINE group got to be about 20 people total...
But man, that bitch was PISSED when she saw us go to that other line. xDD
Seriously though, people were complaining to the staff about us having special passes. Frankly, that's House of Blues policy. It's on their website. It's just like anyone else having VIP passes or whatever.

We got into the music hall an FRONT ROW. We all slammed ourselves against the guard railing and held on. xD
Really though, Conner had enough time to walk over to the merchandise and get him and I shirts. I just kind of spread myself out so that I took up the space necessary for two people until he got back.
The place filled up. Never saw bitch-tachi again.
Don't remember the opening band much. Music kind of flowed into each other.
THEN THERE WAS KYO AND DIE AND SHINYA AND TOSHIYA AND KAORU. @___@
Hooooooooooh shit I was pressed up against that rail and screaming and it didn't matter that I still had a throat infection, I would not be quiet. Die was right in front of me, and Kyo was in clear, unabashed view on top of his box.
They started with Sa Bir, which was never really a favorite song of mine...
Conner was yelling, fist-pumping, and head-banging throughout the entire concert. xD If you've ever seen my little brother, he's about 6-foot tall, lanky with glasses, and very otaku-nerdy looking with hair in front of his face and everything. He's also the quiet one who sits in the back of the class. But no, he was having a time. xDD
I swear I almost shat myself. Clever Sleazoid, Toguro, Ryojoku no Ame, the Final, Kodou... all my favorite songs.
And when Kyo takes away the microphone and sings... without the amplifiers...
Just sings with his voice alone...
Everyone goes quiet. I had never heard such quiet in a music hall. You could hear him clearly without the microphone.
I swear that man was going to make me fucking orgasm right there.
That, and he was shirtless. I mean, I don't usually hold these guys as sex gods... I say I do because, yes, they are very attractive and I'm sure I would drop my pants at half a chance to spend a night with any of them, but really, they're people, too. No need to worship real people.
Random injuction, I just saw a flea. Dogs need baths.
But Kyo had his shirt off with sweat dripping down... and there was a friggin bulge in his tight pants. And he knew he was hot, too. Some of those moves... he knew. @__@
And then Die kept stepping up to the front of the stage... directly in front of me. @__@ Any straight woman or gay man would react to that.
I even told Conner that he should have had a reaction. He smacked me for that...

In all, I came out with a shirt, and I almost drowned on Die's water. Janna (Rachel's sister) caught Die's pic. And no one broke my glasses like at the Tokio Hotel concert. I got incredibly lost downtown, but eventually found one of the interstates.
We didn't stay for the signing... wish we had, but I reeeeeeeally had to pee, and they locked the doors that led to the only bathrooms. 0_o And we were veyr thirsty.
That was a very good day.

I just got Internet back today. After a week.
Heaven forbid, I actually had to read and think to entertain myself.
